An original pair of late 18th century, circa 1770, blue and white traditional Dutch Delft glazed vases, each measuring 27cm tall with marvellous 18th century courtship and waterside subjects and signed HL to the base, Johannes Harlees.

A stylish pair of Delft blue and white vases with a prestigious signed stamp/mark to authenticate maker and period.

Presented in mostly very good condition, no lids, without any significant defects, cracks, chips or losses. The glaze reveals a time worn craquelure surface and the usual nibbles you find on earthenware early delft but surprisingly little, no repairs and no cracks, a super pair, very fine example of good size.
